Prospective Students

Admission policy

Because of the extraordinary development of information technology in both hardware and in software, humans and machines are becoming closely interconnected through information networks, forming large-scale networks with complex dynamics. As a result, unpredictable challenges between humans and humans, humans and the environment, and humans and machines are emerging in rapid succession. This has led to information systems imposing rapidly increasing burdens on humans and the environment. In such a rapidly changing information society, it is essential to establish “Humanware” as an information technology that aids the creation of an information society attuned to humans and the environment, employing the same mechanisms as life systems (flexibility, robustness, and sustainable development).
This degree program aims to develop outstanding leaders capable of supporting and constructing systems that have flexibility, robustness, and sustainability in this ever-changing social environment. We are seeking individuals who share this vision and have the following abilities and qualities.
